Assassin's Creed Unveils Surprising AoT Crossover for Holiday Season
In a bizarre collaboration that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the authorized statement, "A strange confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of prohibited rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The plot introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret cult.
The mission concentrates on "peculiar trials and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Additional Features
Players who accomplish the mission will receive an exclusive katana alongside several items concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Newest Free Story Update
This patch also adds the game's latest free story episode, titled "The Enigma."
